Mosquito Celebration Day

It’s been 12 years since the Calgary Mosquito Society rolled into the Bomber Command Museum with their namesake airplane, the rare and beautiful DH98 de Havilland Mosquito. Learn what’s been accomplished in its restoration over the past year and chat with those who are ‘hands on’ with the airplane. What’s left and how long will it take? Join us for the annual Mosquito Celebration Day! Food concession on site.

  • 1 PM “Mosquito Myths, Facts and Misinformation” with Richard de Boer.
  • VP Jack McWilliam talk at the Mosquito on the restoration progress.

Book and merchandise sale all day adjacent to the airplane.
